Katherine makes ceramic sculpture for internal gallery space, contemporary craft fairs, outdoor sculpture parks or individual commissions. Work is about form and movement based on the sea and items washed up on the beach, and also coral reefs and underwater worlds that exist and flow with the sea. Work is inspired by the natural world; it captures nature’s energy, movement and forms. It does not replicate nature but has similarities.
